An elegant 19th-century period armchair,
a splendid example of the Louis XV Revival style
made in Lombardy-Veneto.
The frame is made entirely of fine walnut,
finely hand-carved.
The seat and contoured backrest feature
refined original padding, upholstered in
damask fabric with vertical stripes in shades of antique gold,
cream, and sage green, enriched with classic floral motifs.
A quote for new padding or fabric replacement is available upon request.
The design is distinguished by its sinuous lines and sculpted details,
visible both on the backrest moulding and on the front band under the seat.
The curved armrests are partially padded for maximum comfort,
ending with an elegant curl that connects to the arched "cabriole" legs.
Unrestored but in excellent condition
