Pair of walnut bookcases made
in the Louis Philippe period in France.
The upper part with glass doors is fitted with shelves,
while the lower part is all in drawers.
In the middle a very comfortable open plan.
The sides of the bookcases are specular,
that is, one is finished with carvings and the upper frame
while the other was originally leaning against a wall,
therefore raw and without cornices.
On the uprights are bunches of grapes and acorns.
A pair of extremely rare and undoubtedly prestigious furniture,
also ideal as an exhibitor in some renowned wine cellar.
The elegant fretworked decoration at the top of the doors is different from one piece of furniture to the other.
They still retain some of their original blown glass.
The measures indicated refer to each of them,
therefore the total length if side by side becomes 10,50 mt
