CONSOLES - CONSOLES TABLES

The console or consolle was created to adorn large halls or corridors, could be born in pairs and was often accompanied by a mirror. Elegant and always provided with legs it was a decorative piece of furniture therefore enriched with carvings, inlays, bronzes, lacquers or gildings. The top served as a support for decorative objects such as vases, clocks or porcelains and was often made of marble.
